Columbus Oncology is looking for a full-time Patient Service Representative to join our team! This position supports our current operations in Columbus and Westerville!

What will you do?

Checking the patient schedule 1 day in advance, marking patients with outstanding balances to be collected and verifying insurance coverage.

Reviewing chemo treatment estimates for updated dedc and out-of-pocket amounts.

Meeting with patients regarding insurance, insurance changes or billing questions.

Billing foundations for any balances due.

Primary person for Telehealth daily.

Back up coverage for the Front desk for employee PTO

Reviewing chemo orders and writing treatment estimates

Backup for Hospital consults
What will you need to be successful?

Must have two years of experience working in a physician practice

Basic understanding of medical insurance and billing process
-
Proficiency in MS Office Word; EMR experience helpful

Good communication and organizational skills
