The Dermot Company, a New York City based real estate developer and operator, is seeking a full-time Senior Leasing & Marketing Associate. Reporting to the Leasing & Marketing Director, this is a position with exposure to all areas of residential real estate marketing and leasing. The ideal candidate will have some experience in leasing, Excel and strong communication and presentation skills.
Weekend hours are required for this position.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
Some of the things you’ll be working on include:
- Participating in creating marketing campaigns across various platforms and in the execution and implementation of the marketing plan.
- Creating and implementing social media strategies; engaging with audience.
- Touring apartments with prospects and adhering to thorough follow-up procedures.
- Leasing and pre-leasing apartments.
- Completing applications and lease documents.
- Walking the tour path daily and ensuring that the model apartments are meeting Dermot expectations.
- Proactively collaborating with property teams on resident relations.
- Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners and brokers.
- Completing leasing reports and market surveys with the guidance of the Leasing and Marketing Director.
- Serving as a mentor to leasing and marketing associates; helping train new hires.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned.
ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU OFFER
- Ability to work weekends.
- 4-year undergraduate degree.
- Background in Marketing and/or Sales and customer service experience.
- 2-3 years of residential leasing experience (luxury residential experience is strongly preferred).
- Yardi, On-site, Excel proficiency; adept at learning new technology and programs.
- Rent Stabilization knowledge.
- Real Estate License; if not licensed, must agree to obtain license upon hire.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to meet deadlines.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions whatsoever.

Our compensation and benefits package include a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid time off and retirement with match when eligible. The annualized gross base range for this position is $65,000-73,000 plus commission if licensed or willing to obtain a license as required after hire.
