Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate 3rd Grade Teacher to join our team at our innovative Project-Based Learning (PBL) school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elementary education, a deep understanding of project-based learning methodologies, and a commitment to fostering inquiry, critical thinking, and collaboration in young learners. As a 3rd Grade Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and authentic learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in our students.
Responsibilities:

Design and implement project-based learning experiences that align with grade-level standards and curriculum objectives.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their learning.

Plan and deliver differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students, including English Language Learners (ELLs) and students with special needs.

Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.

Facilitate student-led inquiries, discussions, and collaborative activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Assess student learning through authentic and performance-based assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide student growth.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners to support student learning and development.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay current with best practices in project-based learning and elementary education.

Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student achievement and growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Valid teaching license/certification for elementary education.

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an elementary school setting, preferably with experience in project-based learning or inquiry-based teaching.

Knowledge of child development, pedagogy, and best practices in elementary education.

Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
