Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Lettershop Supervisor to oversee 2nd shift operations in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of USPS Mail regulations, Lettershop production processes and possess excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise shop floor activities including: barcode imaging lines, attaching lines, folding & gluing, stitching, inserting, cards affixing, waferseal labeling, shrinkwrapping, packaging, etc.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Safety, Security, Quality Standards and other Company's internal rules & regulations
- Train and mentor shop floor staff on best practices and safety protocols
- Understanding of 5S principles and lean standards, will be a plus
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for material movement
- Conduct quality checks to maintain product integrity
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to create a secure work environment
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of FlowMaster mailing inserters, Precision Finishing Systems, MultiFeeders
- Knowledge of in-line-attaching process and plow-folding
- Knowledge of Robatech glue-systems, a plus
- Experience with camera-matching (DataTrack, QPRESS) and in-line inkjet (read/write) preferred
- Understanding of USPS presort & postal regulations, a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in manufacturing or related field is a plus
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of FDA regulations and USPS Mail standards
- Ability to fabricate, assemble, package, sanitize, and handle materials efficiently
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide shop floor staff effectively
- Bilingual skills highy desired
