NETA III Relay Technician

Job Description
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
· Perform NETA electrical maintenance and acceptance testing tasks.
· Test both digital and mechanical relays
· Troubleshoot emergency and non-emergency electrical problems.
Secondary Roles & Responsibilities when there is not Client Jobs to do
· Assist in Project Management including work order, creating field files, purchases, research, coordination
· Closing projects by addressing any punch lists, additional scope, additional quotes.
· Take client calls 24 hours a day for emergency support
· Assist in completing testing reports.
Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements
· NETA III or higher certification
· Trained with SEL relays
· Supports UIS’ core values
· Member of the IBEW or willing to join
Preferred Skills
· NECA/IBEW Apprenticeship
· Strong aptitude for technical challenges and troubleshooting. Has a hands-on approach when necessary.
· Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, positive attitude.
· Demonstrate ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
· Strong work ethic, embraces new challenges, will do the necessary research to find the right solution.
