Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassion Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor at our home care agency responsibilities, including:
- Client care Evaluate client needs, create care plans, and supervise their implementation. This may include conducting initial intake screenings, client visits, and periodic reassessments.
- Staff management Orient new staff to policies and procedures, monitor their performance, and evaluate their competencies.
- This also include developing action plans to improve staff development.
- Communication Ensure communication with the medical team to avoid medication errors, and inform family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructions.
- Work environment Create and implement nursing policies to foster a positive and organized work environment.
- Equipment Ensure medical and administrative equipment is operating properly by verifying emergency equipment availability, completing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Confidentiality Maintain confidentiality of medical and personnel records.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:
- Patient care
- ICD-10 coding
- Experience working with children
- Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center
- Ability to ventilate patients
- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques
- Knowledge of occupational health practices
- Experience in acute care settings
- Competency in catheter care
- Skilled in medication administration
