We're thrilled to announce a dynamic opportunity for you to become an integral part of our Oak Brook, IL team. As an on-site contributor, you'll play a key role in pioneering a pathway toward a more streamlined and effective healthcare system.
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of this position is to Identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by users of servers, desktop systems, network, Internet, and other computer technology. Provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware and software. Install, set-up and test computers and other hardware and software. Train users in various software applications and network-related procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow department objectives, standards and procedures.

Receives and attends incidents and requests.

Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the Sanitas network, the Internet, PCs and other technology.

Acts proactively to prevent issues.

Configures, installs and updates computers and other devices in response to demands.

Trains end-users on the use and features of the operating systems and applications on the various

platforms.

Installs, set-up and troubleshoots network equipment.

Will use service manager to log requests; monitors progress, tracks problem resolution, identify patterns of failure, research bug fixes and implements solutions. Communicates with manager regarding unresolved problems.

Provides onsite and remote support.

Responsible for attending meetings and trainings as required.

Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree with at least two years of coursework in computer sciences or equivalent experience required.

Ability to work on call shifts.

Current experience providing technical desktop and network support in a large multi-platform and multi-operating systems environment OR one year of experience and an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certificate OR Comp TIA Certifications.

Computer, devices, network and software trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills required.

Knowledge of networking and AD environment.

Collaboration and productivity tools (Google and/or Office)
