Talgo, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a crucial member of our maintenance department, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Regular Inspections:
- Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Routine Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or plumbing malfunctions and take corrective actions promptly.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, or equipment failures, minimizing disruption to facility operations.
- Tool and Equipment Management:
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks.
- Record Keeping:
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to execute facility improvement projects.
- Safety Adherence:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Supply Procurement:
- Assist in identifying and procuring necessary supplies and materials for maintenance activities.
- Industry Awareness:
- Stay informed about best practices, technological advancements, and relevant regulations to enhance maintenance efficiency.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a facility or industrial setting.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
