Our client is a rapidly growing logistics and business solutions organization which is looking for a Junior Purchasing Analyst, located in Trenton, NJ.
$26 – $28/hr
The Junior Purchasing Analyst will perform market trend research, data analysis, and account management. The ideal Junior Purchasing Analyst candidate for this position is a hard worker, multi-tasker, organized and dedicated to meeting deadlines.
- Purchasing of raw materials and handle within the agreed business processes
- Placement of purchase orders in support of demand requirements
- Analyze the purchasing systems and suppliers to identify cost improvement
- Resolve invoice issues with finance, plants and suppliers
- Analyze data and make recommendations for portfolio and sales optimization
- Perform market trend research including, reviewing competitor websites, and social media channels online along with using any available corporate research tools
- Educate teams on trend research and findings so they can best implement through their channels
- Analyze data for new and existing products
- Compile data related to competitors’ products such as pricing, sales, and marketing or distribution methodology
- 1 to 3 years of purchasing, sourcing, and/or supply chain finance experience
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and/or Finance related field is required
