Job Summary:
The Clinical Manager will oversee Level II services within the Medication Assisted Recovery Program at PLCCA for the WCC Program Services under the umbrella of PLCCA's Behavioral Health Services Division. This role involves managing program staff, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, providing the highest standard of care for clients, and representing executive leadership in various meetings. It is imperative that the ideal candidate for this position would either be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC); a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or a Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist (LMFT).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Operations - Manage the day to day operations of the Level II services, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to program protocols.
- Staff Management - Supervise program staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development. Provide leadership and support staff to enhance performance and morale.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance - Ensure the program complies with all regulatory, licensing, and funding requirements. Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high standards of care and documentation.
- Outcome Tracking - Monitor and report on program outcomes and deliverables as per funding agreements. Use data to inform program improvements and ensure goals are met.
Client Care:
- Client Assessment and Planning - Oversee the assessment and treatment planning process for clients, ensuring individualized care plans are developed and implemented.
- Interdisciplinary Coordination - Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and social services staff to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and ensure clients are referred to PLCCA's wrap-around services.
- Crisis Management - Provide guidance and support for managing client crises, including intervention and follow up care.
Meetings and Representation:
- Executive Representative - Attend and represent PLCCA's executive leadership in meetings with stakeholders, funders, community partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Reporting - Prepare and present reports on program performance, challenges, and successes to executive leadership and funding entities.
Financial Management:
- Budget Oversight - Assist in the development and management of the program budget. Monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and funding requirements.
- Grant Management - Work with the executive team to identify and apply for funding opportunities. Ensure compliance with grant requirements and timely submission of reports.
Community Engagement:
- Outreach - Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, referral sources, and other stakeholders to promote the program and enhance service delivery.
- Advocacy - Advocate for clients and the program within the community, promoting awareness and understanding of the Level II services.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Required - Master's degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Licensure- Current state licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, CADC, or equivalent.
Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical management role within a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting. Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs preferred and Behavioral Health Services.
