JAKES JOB DESCRIPTION: LINE COOK - FLOWER MOUND
Pay $16-18 per hour
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As a Jakes HOH team member, your job entails properly and responsibly preparing all food for guest consumption. You are also responsible for the overall cleanliness of the kitchen, including the line, prep areas, walk ins, freezer and dish area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.) Complete all opening duties, during shift duties, and closing duties of the line cook.
2.) Set up line stations with correct food and utensils.
3.) Maintain Health Dept ready kitchen and walk ins at all times.
4.) Have high energy and be a self-motivated team member.
5.) Prepping and portioning for all day parts.
6.) Rotating and filtering oil twice a day.
7.) Using recipes every single time a batch of anything is made.
8.) Detail all equipment, sweep, scrub and mop all HOH floors at completion of the shift.
9.) Maintain clean dishes and upkeep of the dish area when no dish person is on the clock.
10.) Be a team player! Everyone helps in all positions in the HOH. Every job asked to complete is expected to be done.
11.) Report to work when scheduled and on time.
12.) In your interactions with guests or fellow team members, you are expected to uphold our standards of excellent service and hospitality.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No education is needed to start as a dishwasher, busser or line cook.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
