The digital revenue team is a startup within Redfin that is transforming the way Redfin users get value from our products. We look for opportunities and identify partnerships with external parties to provide customers with access to information and services that solve their problems. We’ve built our own Mortgage Marketplace to offer financing solutions to Redfin’s 50M+ unique monthly visitors and recently launched a partnership to connect buyers with homebuilders.
That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a Mortgage Account Executive to work on our Mortgage Marketplace, building and growing relationships with lenders in an exciting inside sales role. You’ll be the first full time account executive for the growing mortgage marketplace and have the unique opportunity to grow your career and shape our sales processes.
The Role
Tip of the spear: actively and independently prospect for new lenders to join our marketplace, exercise discretion in vetting for quality and thinking creatively on how to build the funnel.
Retain customers: lead client meetings to present and discuss program optimization, execution and marketing best practices.
Improve the process: uses independent judgment to identify opportunities to better sell our products, improve sales processes, and drive strategy.
Improve the team: work with a variety of collaborators, some inside and some outside, to hit our goals.
Find the data: compile and analyze the data needed to develop customer relationships and sales strategies.
Drive the bus: you’ll have the autonomy, and independence, to meet and win customers where and how you see fit.
Who you are:
2+ years of sales experience in the mortgage industry, and an understanding of how mortgage companies turn a profit.
Demonstrates success in achieving and exceeding sales goals through new customer acquisition and outbound prospect follow up.
Driven by clear goals and results and the ability to work in an independent fashion.
Able to actively listen and use critical thinking in a variety of situations and to solve “real world” problems faced by our target audience.
Self motivated and like working on small teams where you own the results.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Able to work independently and collaborate with a team.
Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience required.

Base Pay Range: $ - . Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include commissions, bonuses, and equity.
