Duties:
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial settings.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to plan and execute plumbing projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances such as sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and dishwashers.
- Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.
- Troubleshoot plumbing systems to diagnose malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyperson Plumber.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to operate plumbing tools and equipment safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license/certification - ****REQUIRED****
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience in remodeling projects is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge or carpentry skills are beneficial for certain projects.
- Field service experience is preferred.
