Chamblee Ace Hardware is accepting applications for part-time and/or full-time Sales Associates. We are a locally-owned and operated business with a passion and commitment to serving our neighbors and supporting our community.
As a Sales Associate at Chamblee Ace Hardware, you will be responsible for providing legendary customer service by offering helpful solutions to customers' home improvement needs. This position requires someone with outstanding people skills, a genuine interest in helping others, a "don't say no" attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile to make sure our neighbors recognize 'something different' about our store atmosphere and culture. While helping customers and driving sales will always be the primary job, other responsibilities will include: receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, mixing paint, cutting glass and keys, filling propane, screen and window repair, assembling equipment such as grills, wheelbarrows, & other outdoor patio items. Our structured training program ensures our new employees become proficient at performing all store services as well as maintaining safety and security.
Education/Training:
High School or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Retail experience preferred, special consideration given to experience in the retail hardware business or experience as handyman or building trades (plumbing, electrical, paint, etc). Experience with live goods, gardening, lawn and garden chemicals and fertilizers also helpful.
