The Associate Sales Representative (ASR) fosters customer loyalty and retention by providing in-depth support to assigned accounts, assisting with billing inquiries, service optimization projects, and the implementation of new services to existing clients to ensure a positive customer experience and increase client retention and satisfaction. The ASR leverages data-driven insights to anticipate client needs and proactively address issues, as well as identify opportunities to capture new business. This role requires frequent travel, including overnight stays. Prior experience in sales or account management within lab diagnostics or adjacent industry experience is required.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers through proactive contact, business reviews and goal setting to continuously add value and drive growth within existing accounts
- Partner with the Territory Manager and Regional Sales Director to educate and advocate for customers within the organization to drive new functionality and process improvements
- Provide daily support to customers related to order management, billing questions, problem hold resolution, and in-servicing of accounts
- Maintain expert knowledge of Pathnostics products and services and educate clients on the full portfolio of products and service capabilities
- Leverage data and analytics tools to support business decisions, demonstrate progress, and identify opportunities for engagement
- Use Salesforce CRM to track targeting, frequency, and follow-up activities
- Monitor expense budget and ensure expenses are tracked accurately using designated company systems
- Actively participate in the implementation of new services within assigned accounts and ensure long term scalability and success
- Liaise between clients and internal partners across our customer care, supply fulfillment, billing, clinical, and lab team to develop efficient ordering workflows for customers
- Collaborate with the Territory Manager and Regional Sales Director to shape the strategic vision for your team to maximize the team’s efforts, return, and team engagement using your knowledge of customer behaviors and service expectations
- Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s Business Ethics and HIPAA Compliance standards, policies, and procedures

Compensation:
- Base salary + Quarterly Bonus Target = $130k - 135k OTE. Quarterly bonus is based on both retention and growth objectives within assigned accounts.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven track record of exceeding company targets within a competitive market
- Prior knowledge and experience with payer coverage and reimbursement issues
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and requirements is preferred
- Prior experience with molecular diagnostics is strongly preferred
- Preferred call points: Urology, Urogynecology, OBGYN, Hospital, IDN, Primary Care
Physical Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, personal automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record
- Role holders must be able to talk and hear, must be able to drive their personal vehicle for business purposes (up to several hours per day), must be able to use standard office equipment (i.e. keyboard, mouse, computer, scanner)
