Background
Since 1991, Unique People Services (UPS) has grown and now operates transitional, congregate setting, and supportive housing programs in the Bronx and Manhattan. We provide services that include case management that focus on achieving the highest possible level of independent living. We offer transitional, permanent, and long-term housing for formerly homeless persons with substance use, HIV/AIDS, and/or with a mental illness.

UPS is urgently recruiting for Clinical Supervisors and Clinical Directors to join its team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not all-inclusive of other duties that may be assigned:
- Will be an integral member of the interdisciplinary team and assume overall daily operational, intake and clinical supervisory responsibilities for residential program to assure compliance with Unique People Services, DOHMH, DHS and various contractual and legal obligations.
- Ensures all clients receive confidential, quality housing and comprehensive services at the appropriate level of care with attention to detail, continuous tracking and timely reporting.
- Communicates and collaborates with Directors, medical providers and clinical team in agency-related and programmatic duties.
- Supervise, mentor and ensures all case management staff to support the smooth delivery of services.
Education and Certification
- Master’s degree in the health, human services, social sciences, behavioral health or other related field of study
- Licensed Master's in Social Work or Licensed Clinical in Social Work

Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum of one (1) year experience servicing target populations: homeless, substance usage, HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ individuals
- Minimum of one (1) year administrative, supervisory and case management to para-professionals and professionals with advanced degrees
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with behavioral intervention services and monitoring of behavioral protocols
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with program implementation, quality improvement models and tools including design, metrics, program evaluation including both qualitative and quantitative methods
- Experience with governmental adherence, compliance, grants, RFP and/or funding agencies
- Specialized training in psychometrics/psycho-social strongly preferred
- Creative consulting, team building and training skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to initiate and implement activities with minimal oversight and supervision
- Comfortable working with diverse population (ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, etc.) of our multicultural community
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual; fluency and clinical knowledge of second language (Spanish preferred)
- Experience with community outreach and human services resources
- Knowledge of DOHMH/DHS/HRA/social services agencies as well as NYC community-based supportive services
- Experience with advocacy, telemedicine, client assessments, patient referrals, AWARDS Foothold system
- Valid Class D Driver’s license
