Education/Experience Requirements:
- Minimum four years of experience in industrial wet spray-painting applications
- Experience in painting round parts
- Experience in paint mixing, Single and Plural component products
- Experience in paint inspection methods such as: Visual inspections, WFT testing and DFT testing, Cross hatch adhesion testing etc.
- Experience in problem solving paint techniques
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
- 3 stage wash system
- Chemicals used in each stage of the wash system
- Wand applicator cleaning systems
- Two component materials (Epoxies, Urethanes, etc.)
- Solvents and their uses for reduction or evaporation (dry times)
- Must have good close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationship) and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
- Must pass a pre-hire Pulmonary Lung Function test. Required to wear fresh air hood.
- Must pass Wipro paint test.
- Properly handle hazardous materials and follow safety rules
- Interact professionally with customers, vendors, visitors and co-workers.

- Take initiatives to improve efficiencies and procedures

Job Description:
- Wash and MaskPrep parts for wash and paint on a rotating basis so that product is constantly flowing
Record daily water usage levels and test each stage for proper titration levelsPrepare/Complete reports as needed
- PaintOperate proper control of the air pressure, nozzle adjustment and direction of the spray to obtain proper grade and finish
Insure coatings are applied according to paint specifications or applicable customer requirementsMaintain productivity level to insure the timely delivery of materialVisually inspect products for proper surface preparation to insure quality of coatingsMaintain neutralizing agent and oil separatorProperly dispose of paint wastesPrepare/Complete reports as needed
- Equipment MaintenanceClean guns and hose lines with proper solvent
Inspect and maintain equipment to insure all quality standards are met and exceeded.Recommend repairs to equipment if needed.Report unsafe conditions.Report broken or malfunctioning equipment.Perform annual equipment maintenance.Maintain neutralizing agent and oil separator
