- Working as a team with FOH and BOH to ensure consistency and timely experience for AFURI guests through customer service and food quality.

- Generates returning guests, learn guest names to create an individualized and personable experience.
- All dine in and take out orders are processed accurately in a timely manner. Demonstrates solid understanding of the POS, Gift Cards, Loyalty, and KDS systems.
- Understands all delivery portal tablets and how to submit orders for each outlet.
- Manages take out, packaging, getting orders into the right hands, proper item labeling, consistently and accurately.
- Follows all Company accounting policies and procedures regarding employee meals and tip pooling procedures.
- Participates in all ongoing training initiatives. Continued education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages.
- Full focus is always on the floor. Keeping an eye on guests that need help, clearing or interacting with tables that need attention of any kind. Guests should not have to “flag you down”.
- Answers phones in a timely manner, always pleasant and respectful to all guests. Responds to questions or redirects call to someone who can assist.
- Delivers food and beverages to guests and check with them to make sure they have everything they need, every time. Assists expeditor needs to ensure all guests receive their orders in a timely manner.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant including employee areas, patios, and bathrooms. Keep sections clean, properly maintained and stocked for the entire shift.
- Follow proper payment, cash handling, and check out procedures.
