Critical Care Rx is an independent, long-term care pharmacy located on the riverfront of Peoria. We currently serve over 75 communities: skilled-nursing, assisted-living buildings, and developmentally disabled communities. Critical Care Rx is looking for a new pharmacist to join the ranks. The position is flexible, catering to a full-time or part-time position. We hope to find and be a great fit for our next pharmacist.

Qualifications:
- PharmD or RPh with active Illinois pharmacy license in good standing.
- Pharmacist with LTC experience is preferred; sterile IV compounding is advantageous.
What you will do:
- Set an example for others and be a leader. Technicians will look to you for guidance.
- Manage and take part in workflow processes to ensure medications are entered and dispensed accurately and efficiently, keeping medication safety and pharmaceutical elegance in mind. (Punch Cards. Sterile compounding. Non-sterile compounding. Stat Safe. DOSIS. Software: QS1 & DocuTrack).
- Collaborate and direct pharmacy technicians who are involved in entering, packing, and preparing all medications.
- Communicate strongly and effectively to resolve issues and field questions from technicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Work Saturday rotation. We are currently at an every 4th Saturday rotation.
- Share minimal, secondary on-call duties with team pharmacists after hours. We are contracted with an after-hours service, but if there's anything they cannot handle, we are notified.
The position is for a Full Time or Part time pharmacist. Closed Sundays and all major holidays. CCRx is a closed door pharmacy, promoting a casual and friendly pharmacy atmosphere.
