Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our companies, as well as overseeing accounts receivable functions across multiple entities/companies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections, across multiple entities/companies.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Work closely with external accountants or auditors during audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to support departmental goals and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounts receivable specialist, preferably in a multi-entity/company environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Viewpoint Spectrum, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Accounts Receivable Professional (CARP) is a plus.
