Part-Time Payroll Assistant
Location: Eugene, OR
Pay: $20.00 – 22.00/Hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: 15-20 hours a week
A leading broadcast media company is seeking a dedicated payroll team member to manage the biweekly, multi-state payroll processing for 23 TV stations. The successful candidate will join the Accounting Service Center, collaborating closely with the Payroll Manager and Payroll Coordinator.
What you get to do:
- Oversee and process payroll for the entire company, comprising over 1,300 employees.
- Prepare and customize reports using ADP Workforce Now Comprehensive Payroll.
- Assist with payroll-related activities during company acquisitions.
- Manage garnishments, ensuring proper prioritization of multiple orders.
- Support workflows to ensure accurate and timely payroll transactions.
- Ensure data integrity and implement quality control measures for data accuracy.
- Update and maintain all station employee files using ADP Document Cloud.
- Set up new hires in ADP Workforce Now.
- Process terminations, salary increases, promotions, and other employee changes for all stations.
What you need to succeed:
- A minimum of one year of experience in payroll is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for regular interaction with all stations.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, efficient, and hardworking.
- Adequate computer skills to effectively use company payroll software and methods.
- Strong teamwork abilities, as the role requires close collaboration with payroll department staff.
