Position Summary: As a Control Systems Technician, you will focus on equipment troubleshooting and maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply labeling systems, scales, HMI systems, and control cabinets. What you will do: Include but are not limited to:
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Maintain material handling control systems, industrial, motor control systems, servo and frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems.
- Monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and partner with Controls Technicians and Mechanics to resolve equipment electrical problems that create performance deficiency.
- Utilize Operation System Assessment reports to improve material handling system reliability through preventive maintenance tasks and completion and identifying deficiency repairs.
- Escalate when necessary to operations and network support resources for guidance and assistance to restore equipment back to operational mode with minimal downtime impact for operations.
- Communicate technical issues to RME and Operations Leadership.
Who you are:
- You have a strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- You have experience with industrial hand tools and equipment.
- You are knowledgeable about electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep of conveyors and other warehouse parts-moving equipment.
- You are an excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- You are a strong communicator with interpersonal skills.
What you will bring:
- Strong knowledge of systems controls.
- Experience identifying, maintaining, and utilizing SCADA systems and KPI's.
Education and Experience:
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Experience in field service engineering.
- Associate’s degree in electronic technology or equivalent, or 2+ years of professional or military experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods walking around client project facilities.
- Prolonged periods sitting at desk working on computer and completing paperwork.
- Move up to 50lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Job Location: Job will be located in Ocala, Fl. Occasional travel may be required.
Hours/Shift: Candidates must be willing to work any shift to be considered for the position.
