6 Month Contract
Onsite - Arlington, TX
Monday-Saturday, 9 hour days, OT 1.5X after 40 hours
Pay: $36-$40/hr
General Description:
- Plans, designs, and drives continuous improvement of the manufacturing process in the industrial plant.
- Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
- Determines parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
- Performs a major role in troubleshooting process issues, root causing product defects, and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate and implement changes suggested by Launch or Product Engineers. They focus more on technology (PLCs, Robots, Welding, etc.) and are responsible in general of secondary equipment (welding, clipping, wrapping, etc.).
Position Specific Requirements (PSR):
- Expertise in Vacform and Edge wrap processes for door panels, headliners and IPs/Edge folding equipment and systems/laminating and folding systems
- Ultrasonic welding/infrared welding
- Lamination/heat hot melt dispersion glue applications/adhesive/glue systems
- Leather lamination
- Robotic cells
- Transfer systems
Education
- BS/BA required
- MBA/MS preferred
Experience
- Requires 8+ years of experience
