We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Rep.
This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining a solid customer base in the business to business manufacturing, marine, military, transportation, energy and construction industries within the designated states of Tennessee and Kentucky. Importance is placed upon face to face interaction with customers and prospects necessitating a high degree of time on the road.
Successful candidate will:
- Become intimately familiar with the range of I & I Sling products in order to be able to suggest products to address customer or prospective customer needs
- Maintain close and frequent contact with the I&I Sling office(s) to relay and obtain necessary information
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through frequent in-person, email, or phone contact in an effort to increase the performance of the territory and obtain work orders. This may require drive times of several hours in length as well as navigating work sites on foot which may have rough terrain and/or inclines and stairs or ladders
- Communicate with customers on a regular basis regarding training opportunities as well as open house events in an effort to increase attendance at such events

- Effectively and efficiently plan sales call routes to make the most out of each day
- Utilize the tools, technology, and resources available to you in support of efficient and effective communication and follow up with customers and internal contact
- Complete and submit required monthly, daily, or other reports in full
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Successful candidate will have the following experience, skills, and qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required/Associates degree or technical school preferred
- 2-4 years of sales or customer service experience required
- Industrial sales background
- Good listener with excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate accountability, preparedness, and ability to anticipate customer needs
- Demonstrate creative problem solving and is goal oriented, competitive and driven to succeed.
- Strong multi-tasking and relationship building skills
- Present an upbeat, win-win attitude and passion for the product and job
- Valid drivers license
