Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our team. As the IT Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting desktop computing environments within client organizations. Your duties will include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, deploying new equipment, and providing timely technical support both remotely and on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation of all troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Provide on-site assistance as required, coordinating with the service desk team as necessary.
- Fulfill install/move/add/change (IMAC) requests, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
- Deploy end user equipment as necessary, including installing and configuring components such as SSDs, RAM, and other peripherals.
- Ensure reliable connectivity for end users, including network and peripheral connections, as well as connectivity between infrastructure and end-user equipment.
- Conduct on-site and remote troubleshooting and resolution of issues for end users.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors as necessary to resolve support issues.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in a help desk or service desk role is preferred.
- Entry-level or Tier 1 engineering experience is beneficial.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of desktop and mobile devices, including hands-on device troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency in desktop and mobile device operating systems.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools (e.g., NinjaRMM) for proactive system monitoring and management.
- Experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) software (e.g., HaloPSA) for efficient ticket management and client communication.

- Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and ITIL Foundation are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure, including modern security practices, is a plus.
