Pro Label LLC, a division of Labelink, is looking to expand their team. We are looking at adding a 2nd shift Finishing Lead.
We are currently seeking a FINISHING LEAD to join our team at the Appleton Plant. We are looking for energetic, initiative-taking, and detail-oriented individuals to join the team. This person guides and holds their teams accountable to ensure employees are working safely and we are providing a quality product for our customers. The Lead oversees the finishing production personnel, equipment and processes across manufacturing and support departments. The Lead will assign work, guide daily goal setting, coach team members for continuous improvement, and enforce compliance with company and government requirements. The Lead must guide and coach the efforts of team members to deliver on daily goals, while helping to promote a strong plant culture centered on company values. Leads report to the area Department Manager and Production Manager.
Finishing Lead Entails:
- Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
- Responsible for supporting the production of quality products while supporting production performance.
- Help team members establish daily goals and review daily achievements.
- Manage daily production schedules, provide recommendations on areas for improvement efficacy.
- Meet or exceed shift goals in safety and productivity.
- Report on when production standards are not met.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate team members to achieve work goals.
- Mobilize workforce in response to machine breakdowns, troubleshooting, and problem-solving quality issues, covering employee call-ins.
- Champion food safety compliance, particularly by following and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and BRC guidelines to ensure plant readiness for all regulatory and certification audits.
- Make decisions on product quality issues.
- Proactively seek out opportunities to aid production and demonstrate prompt responsiveness.
People Leadership
- Be a positive leader with a desire to be a change agent for the employees and plant.
- Supervise departments consisting of 11 hourly team members.
- Address employee issues (performance, behavioral, etc.) through problem resolution.
- Motivate, engage and recognize individuals consistently for their contributions and performance.
Continuous Improvement
- Develop and support standard work practices.

- Minimum high school education/GED, associates or BS degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in a Supervisor or Leadership position.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing work experience; experience in Flexible Packaging is a plus.
- Strong computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to work a 10-hour schedule Monday through Thursday 2:30 pm to 12:30 am with a paid 40-minute break and working as a team to cover vacancies when needed.
- Must be able to distinguish colors, lift up to 40 pounds and work around solvents.
