Your Role
We are hiring an enthusiastic and organized Administrative Generalist I to support BioTechnique, our Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). This position is full-time, on-site in York, PA. This position will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the administrative functions and maintaining a productive workplace.
- Act as the primary host at BioTechnique, fostering a positive experience and greeting visitors (customers, candidates, etc.) and directing to the appropriate department and/or personnel.
- Maintain the lobby area and conference rooms.
- Provide administrative and clerical support for BioTechnique managers and employees, including handling phone calls, emails, scheduling, and documentation.
- Help with the preparation and coordination of meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and files. Organize and archive documents as necessary.
- Ship, print, and receive materials, equipment, and packages, as required.
- Provide phone coverage and handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, responding to inquiries and redirecting as necessary.
- Drive communication and close out all action items for BioTechnique administrative duties.
- Facilitate internal and external communication by routing messages, answering inquiries, and ensuring prompt responses to stakeholders.
- Prepare materials, agendas, and take minutes during meetings as required.
- Collaborate with teams on special projects, providing administrative support as necessary.
- Assist in the coordination and/or outreach for local university career events, and attend as BioTechnique company representative as needed.
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
- Assist in organizing office operations, order supplies, and ensure the workplace remains neat and organized.
- Arrange travel bookings and itineraries for employees and executives as needed.
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, and more.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred but not required.
- Extensive organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong customer service experience/skills
- Proven experience within administrative/coordination functions.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a resourceful and solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
