What You'll Do:
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with Creative Curriculum and Second Step Social Emotional Learning curriculum
- Conduct ongoing assessments and observations to monitor children's progress
- Build strong partnerships with families to foster open communication and collaboration
- Ensure the health and safety of children in the classroom
- Supervise and guide children's play and learning activities
- Provide support and guidance to assistant teachers and other classroom staff
Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Education, or a related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred if bachelor's degree is not in ECE or ED.
- Two years of experience working with preschoolers
- Familiarity with Head Start regulations and Keystone STARS 4/NAEYC accreditation standards
- Familiarity with Creative Curriculum for Preschool and Second Step Social Emotional Curriculum
