General Contractor needs highly detailed admin to oversee major processes at corporate office in Yorba Linda. This is a full-time position that will require a high-degree of problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Looking to start right away.
Responsibilities:
- A working knowledge of construction
- Heavy filing and data entry
- Maintain cleanliness throughout premises
- Answer office phones
- General housekeeping, purchasing office supplies as needed
- Some hiring duties: interview scheduling, posting job ads, etc
- Procure construction materials for new projects
- Apply for City Permits - prior knowledge of municipal building codes a PLUS
- Print and review architectural plans
- Organize bid proposals from subcontractors
- Identify damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies on warehouse deliveries
- Keep organized records of deliveries and overall inventory
- Maintain office equipment
- Make travel reservations for employees on assignment
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Represent the company in a positive light
Skills
- Organized, detail oriented.
- Exceptional phone/email etiquette
- Able to move 50+ pounds of equipment
- High school diploma
- Computer/Tech saavy (Microsoft Office, Zoom, Sage 100 software)
- Background in Construction preferred
- Experience with municipal codes and building standards
Position is 7:30am-4:00pm in-person at Yorba Linda office. Pay DOE.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
