Human Resources Manager
Company Overview: Company is one of the largest creative production companies on the West Coast, working with some of the most recognizable brands from around the world. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager who can oversee all aspects of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR best practice and a proactive mindset to drive organizational success.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
Schedule/ Shift: This is a full-time position. Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Summary: Responsible for all company HR performances. HR Manager assists on routine and more difficult employee relations activities, utilizing strong judgement and communication skills. Advising senior leaders and managers on employee relations issues, such as job performance, disciplinary action, conflict resolution, and more. The HR Manager helps to support a workforce of approximately 185 employees.
Essential Functions:
· Conduct effective internal investigations, present findings, and assist with determining the appropriate corrective action and resolution. Assist in representing company in internal and external employment complaints and litigation.
· Participate in employee disciplinary meetings and terminations as necessary.
· Ensure consistent discipline practices and legal compliance.
· Interpretation of federal, state, and local laws and regulations concerning employment.
· Work closely with leaders and employees to identify trends and create and implement changes resulting in the improvement of relationships, morale, and employee engagement and retention.
· Identify problems central to business strategy and forecast potential obstacles and success.
· Coach, mentor, and develop staff and influence organizational culture.
· Manage in planning and executing company recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screenings, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
· Manage in onboarding program for new employees.
· Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
· Maintains and updates employee handbook as necessary.
· Work with managers on revising and updating jobs descriptions.
· Conduct yearly Workmen Compensation audit.
· Manage maintaining 401K reporting and audit.
· Participate in helping design employee benefits program including working with insurance carriers on getting the best benefits package while keeping the cost low.
· Play key role in shaping our organizational culture and fostering employee engagement.

Minimum Experience and Education Required:
· Must be operations-focused, “hands on” leader who is business savvy and passionate about servant leadership.
· Strong interposal skills
· Not afraid to have difficult conversations and have proven experience resolving conflicts.
· Must be subject matter experts in all HR related issues, compliances, benefits and 401K plan.
· Ability to analyze and evaluate complex information and to define and solve problems.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff and influence organizational culture.
· Demonstrate success handling multiple priorities in changing environments.
· 7 years’ experience in Human Resource
· 5 years of management experience
· Bachelor’s degree
· Preferred PHR
· Preferred understanding of overall general liabilities insurance requirements.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
