Position Overview
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at PosAbilities, you’ll play a key role in our ABA programs, implementing treatment plans with precision and care. If you’re passionate about working with children and possess patience, an open mind, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Observe and measure behavior in real-life environments, focusing on behavior change.
- Track behavioral data and adjust intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
- Implement learning programs in communication, self-help, and play skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to organizational procedures.
- Foster positive communication and representation of PosAbilities to clients and the community.
Position Requirements
- RBT Certification: Must be certified.
- Experience: At least 6 months as an RBT.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written abilities.
- Team Player: Ability to build positive interpersonal relationships.
- Eagerness to Learn: A commitment to continued learning and growth.
- Reliability: Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Transportation: Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
- Flexible Hours: Availability between 9 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm.
