This position will assist in culinary production and staff for all food outlets.
Hourly wage commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares a wide variety of menu items, which include soups, appetizers, sauces, meats, vegetables, starches and sandwiches according to prescribed recipes.
2. Collaborates with staff to achieve maximum productivity and maintain high standards of quality.
3. Assists with sanitation and safety and related production activities.
4. Maintains clean work areas, utensils and equipment.
5. Identifies and reports any unusual problems with supplies, equipment or working conditions.
6. Works in conjunction with appropriate staff for the proper labeling, rotation and freshness of all food items and the disposal of all spoiled or unattractive foods for appropriate inventory accountability.
7. Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, presentation, flavor of foods.
8. May be required to prepare special items according to request by a member.
