Growing Dallas based company looking for a self-motivated and experienced inventory and operations manager to help drive new product growth and development and improve operational efficiencies. If you are passionate about operations, inventory management, demand planning and finding creative ways to improve performance and solve problems, we’d love to speak with you. This position will evolve as the company evolves, and we are looking for a very entrepreneurial, energetic person who will make this role their own. Candidate will report directly to company president.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
- Inspect the levels of finished goods and raw material to identify shortages
- Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover demand
- Record deliveries to reconcile inventory
- Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
- Analyze sales data to anticipate future demand
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
-Assist with supply chain management tasks including but not limited to: production planning, freight planning, routing and confirmation. Manage expense analysis and identify production planning opportunities to improve margin.
- Oversee inventory at multiple warehouse facilities and coordinate with operations team to maintain necessary stock levels. Regularly audits and reports to identify opportunities for stocking and future production planning.
-Produces and maintains needed sales, inventory and margin reports and analysis on a regular basis for senior management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain or related field
- Demonstrated experience in an Operations, eCommerce, Supply Chain, or Operations
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong skill set in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Ability to work effectively in a high pressure and fast-paced start up environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sound analytical and problem solving ability
Very careful attention to detail
Ability to work independently, stay organized and exercise flexibility when working on multiple projects
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
