Warehouse Coordinator
Education, Experience, and Technical Knowledge
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience
HAZMAT (49CFR/ICAO-IATA/IMDG) Certification, preferred
Working knowledge of personal computers and basic programs to include Word and Excel
Familiar with Terms of Trade and Tariff Codes
Core Responsibilities
Assembles orders and prepares product(s) for timely shipment
Responsible for the accuracy of all necessary shipping documentation including, but not limited to:
Electronic Export Information (EEI)
AES Filing
USMCA
Shipper Letter of Instruction
Certificate of Origins/Free Trade Agreement
HAZMAT Documents
Custom Invoices
Electronic Shipping BOL’s (i.e., FedEx, UPS, AAA, Saia)
Work with forwarders & the MECO Parts Department
Enters all shipments into tracking system
Completes all shipping reports and logs
Pick, pull and assemble shipping of spare parts
Other assignments/projects as directed
Essential Requirements
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to be trained to use all material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
Ability to work a majority of the time in a non-climate-controlled environment.
