JOB TITLE: Security Specialist
Security Specialist ensures the safety of all our guests, which includes recognizing accelerated alcohol consumption, illicit drug use, and any other inappropriate behavior. In addition, this position is also responsible for protecting staff from any potential disgruntled guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (include but are not limited to)
- Check for overall venue safety.
- Assist with granting entrance to customers from the guest list.
- Assist in insuring and communicating cover control.
- Welcomes all customers to the venue professionally and courteously, according to the established venue sequence of service.
- Assist with nightly opening and closing duties.
- Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs. Work with the same degree of urgency to assist other team members when the opportunity arises.
- Works with a high level of professionalism towards all customers, ensuring they will return to the venue.
- Document all reportable incidents.
- Appears in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled times.
- Adheres to all established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Creates and maintains a sense of urgency.
- Complies with all state and federal liquor laws.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follows all health and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume environment.
- Must exhibit the ability to work well with others.
- Must exhibit a focused attention to detail, while working in a high-pressure environment.
- Must always be professional and courteous.
- Must be able to maintain excellent customer service skills while maintaining high service standards in a stressful, constantly changing work environment.
- Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral. Multilingual skills are a plus.
