Kollar Chocolates is searching for an Assistant Chocolatier with a strong commitment to excellence to join our growing team in Napa, California at our new production kitchen. Develop your artisan chocolate-making skills in an award-winning, supportive, creative, and exciting atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Candidates will need to be organized, team-oriented, and willing to learn and grow
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience, baking and pastry knowledge is a plus
- Chocolate expirence
- Commitment to quality, reliable and strong work ethic
- Must be available to work 8 AM – 4:30 PM shifts
- Passion for the craft is a plus
- Food Handler Certification
- US work authorization
Daily and Weekly tasks as we run on a production schedule:
- Ganache prep
- Polishing molds
- Praline from scratch
- Confections
- Caramels
- 3-d figurines
- Barks, Bars, Rochers
- Daily cleaning tasks
- Airbrushing
- Casting molds
- Filling molds
- Working the Guitar
- Enrobing
- Weekly inventory
- Tabling chocolate
- Upkeep of sanitation codes and practices
