About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an attorney with 5-10 years of estate planning experience in California to join our estate planning department in our Santa Rosa office. About the Candidate:
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
- 5-10 years of in-depth estate planning experience
- Skillful analysis and synthesis of diverse subject matter
- Superior drafting, writing, research, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic that thrives in both independent and highly collaborative, fast-paced environments
- Experience with Federal income, estate and gift tax laws and California state income and property tax laws, as well as experience with property tax, gift, and estate tax planning
- Recent experience working with clients: designing and drafting irrevocable trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, and charitable trusts
- Recent experience in complex trust administration and probate matters
- Ability to work efficiently and cost effectively for clients
- Knowledge of and experience with fiduciary income tax issues
- Demonstrated success in helping to build and manage client relationships and deliverables
Salary range $125,000 to $165,000 per year
Supplemental pay types:
- Structured bonus pay based on achievable benchmarks
