Duties:
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or individuals in need of patient care
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
- Engage in meaningful activities and outings with individuals to enhance their quality of life
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals under your care
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare, working with people with developmental disabilities, senior care, patient care, or direct support is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to different locations as needed
- Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care to individuals with diverse needs
- Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
