Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in school psychology.
- Certified as a school psychologist through North Carolina Psychology Board (NCSPB)
- Completed advanced/specialist degree in school psychology. (Educational)
- Completed a supervised school psychology internship
- Passed the School Psychology Praxis (5402)
Job Description:
- 40-hours per week
- Follow N.C. federal and state rules and regulations regarding school psychology.
- Follow IDEA
- Provide counseling and guidance to students and families.
- Prepare evaluations
- Work closely with parents, families, principal, and other school administrators.
- Establish a relationship with students and team.
- Provide intervention to students.
- Exhibit Leadership to students to K-12 staff.
