Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions if applicable
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Follow all relevant protocols and procedures, including HIPAA guidelines
- Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or other specific populations as required
- Ensure compliance with resident rights and advocate for client needs
Requirements:
- Previous experience in senior care, working with people with developmental disabilities, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to perform basic medical tasks, such as taking vital signs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Rotating weekends
