Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual in English/Spanish Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive patient care and support in various medical settings. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring high standards of patient care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Provide specialized care for patients in assisted living facilities or memory care units
Skills
-Bilingual in English/Spanish required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and standards of care
- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Experience in providing patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Skilled in using medical imaging technology for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Knowledge of dementia care principles for patients with memory impairments
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
