Atlanta Aviation International, founded in 1993, specializes in Airline Interior Refurbishment of sidewalls, bins, ceilings, PSU’s, Galley’s, and lavatories. Also offers decorating solutions for Airlines, Regional Airlines, Interior OEM Suppliers, OEM Corporate Jets, VIP & Head of State Interiors.
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated team member to fill the role of our Composite Repair Technician.
Job Description Summary Statement:
Technician must be skilled in performing minor to major repairs on composite panels associated with galleys, lavatories, bins, ceiling and sidewall panels. Able to cross train body repair mechanics that have performed bondo repairs on automobiles.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Repair corrosion and damages on surfaces.
- Sand repaired surfaces to an acceptable level for primer.
- Drill and pot inserts to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Drill and install rivets to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Cut and fabricate aluminum trims for galleys & lavatories.
- Able to do major repairs and cosmetic repairs
- Ability to meet production requirements.
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
- Able to perform fiberglass resin layups

Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in interior repairs preferred.
- Body repair mechanics that have performed bondo repairs on automobiles will be considered and cross trained.
- Should be able to read technical drawings.
- Have all tools associated with said repairs.
- Drug-free workplace. Mandatory Drug Testing.
- Ability to work overtime – 10-hour days from Monday – Saturday
- Valid driver’s license, birth certificate, & social security card
- Compensation: Negotiable depending on experience.
- Full-time position, 40+ hours per week.
