Position Overview
The Transportation Assistant provides transportation to the families and youth being served by the National Youth Advocate Program for appointments, recreational activities, court appearances, service-learning projects and pick up from school.
Location: Homewood, Illinois
Hours: 5pm-10pm

Responsibilities
The Transportation Assistant will perform duties including, but not limited to:

Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.

Transport youth and families.
-
Document all activities in a timely manner including logging mileage and hours.

Assist in scheduling and arranging appointments.
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

Working, reliable telephone
-
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
