Café Manager
Duties:
-Create and upgrade Farm to Fork menu
-Cost our menu items on a regular basis
-work with local farmers to purchase local produce and integrate into our menu and specials
-Run Farm to fork dinners using wood fire oven and BBQ
- Oversee daily operations of the café, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service
- Interview, hire, train, and schedule café staff as needed
- Ensure high-quality food and beverage production and presentation
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Manage café budget and expenses
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new ideas to enhance the café experience
Qualifications:
-A love of gluten free, paleo, and other organic dietary foods
-An understanding of Farm to Fork concept
- Previous experience in café or restaurant management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Proficient in coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of different coffee beans
- Familiarity with food production processes and culinary techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Batista experience is a plus
- Degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred
