As a Distribution Manager at EMS-CHEMIE (North America) Inc., you will play a crucial role in managing the Distribution Channels and improving the overall Distribution growth strategy; while implementing and enforcing the annual partnership agreements and contracts to ensure the 1 - 3 year plan is achieved. Reponsiblity of accuracy in forecasting, data entry, reporting, planning and managing the project pipeline are critical skills needed to be successful in this role. This is a remote position but requires some travel within US, Mexico and Canada.

Job Duties/Tasks:
- Manage the distribution sales partners in USMCA region.
- Ensures pricing is accurate and competitive in the EMS database.
- Ensure the EMS data base for forecast, projects and contacts are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain and modify the distribution channel partnerships to achieve result.
- Implement distribution performance and improvement plans where necessary.
- Create and implement growth strategies together with internal management and distribution partners.
- Provide progressive 1 & 3-year plans for the distribution partners.
- Coordinates technical development with distribution partners and EMS AD group.
- Establishes and maintains a strong relationship with distributors.
- Ensures effective communication in order to achieve maximum sales and profit results
- Communicates any market intelligence that may affect competitiveness
- Participates in / organizes joint participation with partners at suitable trade shows / exhibitions.
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting of required internal information and reports, including but not limited to customer calls, expenses, itineraries, monthly reports.
Knowledge and Educational Level:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the specialty materials industry
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business related field
- Knowledge and experience within the distribution business model and sales process.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Distribution/Supplier relationship management experience (preferred)
Required Level of Experience
- Knowledge of the overall resins distribution competition landscape within US, Mexico, Canada.
- Proficient understanding of the distribution model of business.
- Analytical with good judgement, business sense and problem solving skills.
- A team player able to work interdependently.
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communications skills
- Structured worker with good time management and project management ability.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
