As our Lead Infant Teacher, you'll lay the groundwork for our children's educational journey, making the transition into structured education a smooth and joyful experience.
Position Overview:
· Immediate Opening: Full-time position available for a dynamic individual eager to inspire, nurture, and educate. Hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
- Role Overview: To lay the foundational stones of education for infants by introducing them to early learning elements in a warm, caring environment. Beyond education, you will provide attentive care, including feeding, diaper changing, and nurturing to ensure a secure and comforting environment.
- Key Responsibilities: Implement learning activities tailored to infant learning, ensure a safe learning environment, and foster the mental and emotional development of each child to facilitate a seamless transition into preschool.
- Family Engagement: Build trusting and communicative relationships with families, providing them peace of mind and support as their children embark on their educational journey.
We Are Seeking Someone With:
- Experience and Skills: A minimum of 1 year experience providing care to infants in a licensed child care program. A keen awareness of safety precautions essential for infants is a must.
- Qualities: A profound love and patience for children, coupled with the ability to capture their attention and trust. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, staff, and parents.
- Health and Mobility: The capability to ensure personal health and the mobility necessary to care for and engage actively with infants.
