**Role Overview:**
As a System Administrator at LPT Realty, you will be responsible for maintaining our servers, ensuring their availability, security, and compliance with industry standards. You will play a crucial role in managing our IT infrastructure, implementing best practices, and conforming to audit requirements such as ISO and SOC2. Advanced experience with AWS and Azure is required.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage and maintain servers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Implement and enforce best practices for server configuration, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security upgrades.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for server configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and audit requirements, including ISO and SOC2.
- Conduct regular audits and prepare for external audits, addressing any identified issues.
- Manage user access and permissions, ensuring secure and appropriate access to systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement scalable and resilient IT infrastructure solutions.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery and backup procedures.
- Utilize Azure Security and Monitoring tools to maintain and enhance system security.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in server management and security technologies.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Advanced expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows, Linux) and server management tools.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and audit requirements, including ISO and SOC2.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Experience in a regulated industry or with specific compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering is a huge plus.
