POSITION SUMMARY:
The FMT will assist with the overall maintenance of the club’s buildings, common grounds, cottages, pool complex and other amenities. He/she will be an active participant in the day-to-day operations of department activities including repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment, furniture, masonry, building structures and utilities to maintain the club property in optimal condition and appearance. FMT will work closely with and report to the Operations Support Maintenance Director.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
- Mechanically inclined with an all-around awareness of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration. Hands-on capabilities for repairs with evidence of such capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline projects.
- Appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions;
Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Assists with the administration of preventive maintenance programs.
- Can effectively participate with all major and minor repairs and improvements.
- Comfortable working with fire, music, cable and TV systems for all facilities.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety.
- Comfortable servicing and repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage, plumbing, electrical, painting and related maintenance activities.
- Ensures that all building maintenance and repair activities are completed in a timely fashion as determined by the Assistant General Manager.
- Ensures proper care of all club vehicles, tools and assets.
- Able to assist with housekeeping items as necessary.
- Position includes working weekends, nights and holidays as dictated by business.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Support Maintenance Director.
CANDIDATE PREFERED EDUCATIONAL AND CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance technician position.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems (Universal HVAC license).
- Pool and aquatics facility understanding and protocol (Local and State license desired).
- All candidates must be legal to work in the United States.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The FMT position is a full-time/year-round position. Compensation Range $25 - $35 per/hour. The Club offers an excellent benefit package including health & dental insurance, 401k with employer match, golf and many more attributes.
