We are a small workshop building high-end custom wood furniture. Knowledge of woodworking tools a plus, but we can train a candidate wiling to learn.
Key responsibilities:
- milling, glue-ups, sanding, and al the aspects involved in building furniture
- assembly of pieces
- applying the proper finish to piece (soft finishes, hard, and paints)
- keeping shop and work space clean
- shop maintenance; cleaning filters, saw dust bins, equipment maintenance
- wrapping items and preparing for shipment
- delivery of pieces sometime required
- stay organized with orders and completed paperwork
- be courteous and open minded with other employees and customers
- support other departments when called on by management
- always maintain safety in all operations
- be on time for the set shop hours
- help with delivery of product. This may include driving the company van to Cape Cod, NH, VT, CT, ME, RI, etc.
Position Requirements:
- ability to read, speak and communicate clearly
- ability to perform physically demanding work on a constant basis, including lifting 100 lbs
- must be hardworking, team player.
- We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and has a positive attitude
- general knowledge of power tools
- This position is entry level with significant room for growth

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
