Intervention Specialist/Special Education Teacher - Intervention Specialist Positions in private Elementary and High Schools for the 2024-2025 school year.
This position would be for the 2024-2025 school year.
The IS will provide specially designed instruction to the students assigned to his/her caseload. This individual will work collaboratively with teachers and service providers to develop objective, measurable goals and determine appropriate accommodations for student individualized education programs.
Intervention Specialist/Special Education Teacher
Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with other staff members and parents/guardians in order to implement Individualized Educational Programs , Service Plans and/or other intervention programs
*Provide accommodations, modifications and interventions to students identified as having a disability and qualifying for special education
*Collaborate with general education teachers to provide instruction that maximizes students’ access to the general education content standards
*Provide specialized instruction to students with special needs in one-on-one, small-group, or inclusion settings in accordance with IEPs and/or SPs
*Support the achievement of unidentified students by providing interventions as requested by other school staff with parent permission
*Administer formative and summative progress evaluations to demonstrate effectiveness of instructional practices

- Current ODE license as an Intervention Specialist required
